Kind People are Powerful

Mental Health is fast becoming one of the most urgent issues of our day. According to the World Health Organization, 14% of the global burden of disease is attributed to mental disorders. The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) has identified heath and well-being as the third most critical need. However 75% of people with mental health illnesses live in low-income countries where access to care is severely limited or beyond their financial means. You can join us in our mission to make mental health care available to those who need it the most.

Volunteer for a Project

Every year we have between four to six project you can volunteer for. All volunteers should be 18 years of age and in good health.

You do not need to have an educational background in mental health. We welcome anyone who wants to be of service. You already have everything you need: care for others, a willingness to learn, and an open heart. We will provide the training.

All volunteers are interviewed so you will get a chance to meet us in person or online before committing to a project.

All projects begin with training. Training is usually for 2 full days. Projects are once a week for two hours each week. Art projects are usually 4 to 6 weeks long, and Expressive Sandwork projects run for 12 weeks.

Do fill-in the Volunteer Interest Form Below and tell us more about yourself as well as the reason why you would like to volunteer with us.
